Summary:

The Terry Ryan Run is held each year to commemorate the untimely death of Hastings-on-Hudson village resident Terry Ryan, a volunteer firefighter.  Held originally as the Hastings Turkey Trot, the run has been dedicated to Terry Ryan since 2001.  Participants may run either the 5k or the 10k through the scenic streets of Hastings-on-Hudson.  Divisions are broken down into men and women and are further broken down into age groups.  The course is hilly in spots and overall nicely challenging.
